Drewexim offers shutters made of wood (pine, meranti, mahogany, oak and other species on request) or aluminium in any shape and colour.
Wooden shutters can additionally be stained or painted to perfectly match the windows and elevation.
Shutters should be fitted on the windows which are large and which are located on the east, south or west side of the building. In summer in such rooms it might be quite hot - in the morning on east and in the afternoon on west. Rooms with windows to the south are the hottest.
Closing the shutter at the right time of the day you can protect the interior from overheating.
In winter the shutters protect from cold. Depending on the material they are made of they can improve the thermal insulation of the windows and doors by 30-50%. If the electrical openers are used there is no need to open the windows or doors before closing the shutters.
Closed shutter provide a very good protection form noise as well.
Drewexim's shutters can be of practically any shape and colour. Single shutters as well as multiple for wider windows including folding shutters. The choice of designs and colours allows to perfectly match the shutters with the windows or doors and the elevation. Drewexim offers square shutters and arched. If the shutters required are only for aesthetic reasons there can be dummy shutters used. Then they are fixed so they cannot be closed and are fitted to the wall.
